Join us for Island Fest featuring FAFSA Fest at Galveston College on Wednesday, March 25th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a day packed with excitement right on the front lawn of the college and in the Seibel Wing.
At Island Fest, we're blending education with entertainment. Explore demonstrations from our Law Enforcement Academy, Cosmetology & Art departments, and browse through resource tables covering Nursing, Allied Health, and more!
And guess what? It's all free! Indulge in delicious pizza, popcorn, and drinks as you mingle and enjoy the festivities. We've got extreme inflatables, lawn games, and a whole lot more to keep kids and adults alike entertained.
Need help with the new FAFSA? We've got you covered! Just bring your 2024 tax return, driver’s license/state ID, social security number, and FSA ID, and our team will assist you.

- Where do I park?
Visitor parking is on the corner of Avenue Q and 39th Street (across the street from the lighthouse). There are closer parking lots; however, these require a parking permit.
- Where do I go once on campus?
Island Fest will be held on the Siebel Lawn and Auditorium in front of the campus.
- What do I need to bring to complete my FAFSA?
Bring your 2024 tax return, driver's license/state ID, social security number, and FSA ID.
- Can I bring a group of students?
Yes! Please email Ashley Deck at adeck@gc.edu to register your school group.
