Galveston College is committed to providing scholarship opportunities to deserving students by seeking funds from individuals, businesses, organizations, and college resources. The criteria for eligibility and the award amount for these scholarships have been developed in cooperation with each scholarship sponsor.

Questions & Answers

Where do I park?

Visitor parking is available at the front and sides of ATC Buildings 1 and 3.

Can I get awarded more than one GC Scholarship at a time?

A student can only be awarded one GC Scholarship per semester. An exception to this rule is that a student receives a GC Foundation Scholarship and a department-specific scholarship.

Do I need to complete multiple applications?

Galveston College scholarship applications will be matched with the individual scholarship criteria. Students are required to submit only ONE application to be considered for every scholarship.

Do I need to be in SAP compliance to be eligible for a GC Scholarship?

The student does not need to be SAP compliant.

Is a FAFSA required to be eligible for GC Scholarships?

It is highly recommended that you complete a FAFSA application at StudentAid.gov.
